Citizens Property Insurance Representatives Q&A Session

ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- Representative Janet Long will host a Question and Answer session with representatives from the Citizens Property Insurance Corporation from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 15.

 

The event will be held in Representative Long’s legislative office at 5511 Park St. North, Suite 101, in the Colonial Bank Building (BB&T).

 

In 2002, the Florida Legislature created Citizens Property Insurance Corporation (Citizens), a not-for-profit alternative insurer, whose purpose is to provide insurance to, and serve the needs of, property owners who cannot find coverage in the private insurance market.

 

Senior staff members of Citizens will be available to answer questions and assist constituents who have been experiencing difficulties with their policies.

 

Appointments are required and limited. Anyone interested in participating is advised to call Representative Long’s office at 727-545-6421 to schedule an appointment to meet with Citizens staff.
