The questions that are often asked about blogging are: Which blogging software should I use? Can I get some help specifically for me in working on my blog? There are so many themes, which one should I use? What plug-ins can help me and how do I use them? What are tags? How do I use categories? How do I put in links? What links should I put in? Can I use WordPress to make my website? How can I track who is coming to my blog? Can I put pictures and video into my blog posts? And many, many more…..The $39.95 fee per participant is all inclusive for the 3.5 hour workshop. All materials and a light lunch/snack will be provided as well.
The Pinellas Park/Gateway Chamber of Commerce is pleased to invite you to attend the Social Media -4 Hands-On Workshop on “How to Set Up my Blog and Effectively Use It?” on Tuesday May 11th, 2010. This seminar will be conducted by Curt Middlebrook, The Computer Whisperer and multi-year, expert Blogger. Note: This is a hands-on seminar that everyone has been asking for! You must bring your own laptop (and your power cord!), which will be connected to the internet (cabling provided), so you can make real time posts and changes to your blog during the workshop. Each session is limited to 8 participants. You must already have a blog set up {If not, contact the Chamber immediately and one can be set up for you prior to the workshop} prior to attending the workshop.
