The Pinellas Park/Gateway Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Hispanic Cultural Awareness Luncheon August 15th, 2007, from 11.30 AM – 1.00 PM. Hispanic lecturer and television and radio personality Sandra Acevedo will be the guest speaker and will explain political, cultural and social characteristics of the growing Tampa Bay Hispanic community. Traditional dance and costume will also be a part of this event. This event will have free admission.
Local Hispanic Pinellas Park restaurants and markets such as Pollo Tropical, International Deli and Grill, La Teresita, Cafe Brasil and Mexico Lindo and others will provide samples of their menus and products for those attending the luncheon, and will provide copies of their menus, calling cards and any other products for the attendees to take with them.
