Bright Ice Scoop Shop is located at 5591 Park Blvd N, Pinellas Park, FL 33781 and is hosting a Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on July 22nd at 11 AM (ribbon cutting will be at 11:30 AM).
Bright Ice opened their first Scoop Shop in St. Petersburg in Nov 2019, after nearly two years of planning. The shop is in a 1950's garage that was converted into a commercial kitchen, along with interior seating for customers. Bright Ice makes all of their super-premium ice creams in-house, and they do not add artificial flavors or dyes. They have fun flavors such as Deepest Darkest Chocolate Secret, Espresso with Kahlua, and Key Lime Pie. Their ice cream was well-received by the local neighborhoods, and they quickly outgrew the 120 square foot kitchen. In 2020 Bright Ice rented 5591 Park Blvd in Pinellas Park, and brought their kitchen operations to the new location. The new kitchen is 1200 square feet, and their walk-in freezer is bigger than the entire previous kitchen! They had their soft opening in Feb 2021, and have received a very warm welcome from the local Pinellas Park community. They have since opened a third location, in Tampa, in May 2021. The store in Pinellas Park makes the ice cream for both the St. Petersburg and Tampa locations, and is large enough to support two or three additional shops. If you stop in during weekday afternoons, you'll often be welcomed by the amazing aromas produced by the kitchen, as their staff roasts strawberries, caramelizes hundreds of pounds of bananas, juices dozens of lemons, and bakes many trays of cookies.
