Brown Bag lunches are a casual, no-stress way to network, learn new things and give yourself a moment to breathe! Join us at Park Station, bring your own lunch, or purchase a wonderful meal at Roe’s Deli, located in Park Station (take a look at their menu on www.roesdeli.com and call your order in ahead of time and get a free drink!). Held from 11.30 AM to 1.00 PM, each of the first four days of the week of June 25th will highlight a different speaker/teacher.
And it’s FREE!
On Thursday, the 28th of June, the worldly and well-informed Dr. Cynthia Johnson, Pinellas County Economic Development Senior Manager, Business Assistance, will be discussing hurricane preparedness for businesses. Pinellas County Economic Development (PCED) encourages all local businesses to review their disaster and business continuity plans for the upcoming 2007 Atlantic Hurricane Season. Dr. Johnson's presentation will discuss ways to protect your business and its documentation, and review the series of "what-if's..." considered before, during and after the event of a hurricane. You may remember stories from hurricane seasons detailing the difficulty business owners experienced proving a business existed, gaining access to the business or proving ownership of a business that suffered dramatic impact from the storms. Dr. Johnson will explain county plans for these and other scenarios.
Join us - and don't forget to RSVP to Donna at 727.544.4777.
