In Pinellas Park\, is set to unveil its new facility to the entire community in less than a week.\n\n \n\nA special grand opening event for the church's neighbors in Pinellas Park and elsewhere is set for Thursday\, Dec. 16\, at 6:30 p.m. in the 25\,000-square-foot Jabez Center\, the new building on the four-acre campus.\n\n \n\nRoughly three years after it was first conceived\, the project saw a few delays\, COVID and otherwise\, before actual construction began one year ago last week. Visitors to the grand opening can see the entire completed building and learn about its many uses in conjunction with the mission of the church and its various ministries.\n\n \n\nThe Jabez Center will more than double the available space on the CBBC campus for worship services\, outreach events and day-to-day use by the church's day school\, Community Christian Academy\, as well as its new child care center set to open Feb. 1.\n\n \n\nVisitors to the grand opening\, regardless of church affiliation\, can get detailed information about student openings in the school and the child care center.\n\n \n\nThe centerpiece of the new building is the multipurpose sanctuary/gymnasium\, which will be utilized for worship services every Sunday and available the other six days of the week for school events and neighborhood sports/recreation initiatives among other things.
